Recycle your sunscreen tubes

Our Commitment to the Planet

At MAGWAI, we’re dedicated to a plastic-free future.

We are proud that our shampoo bars, conditioner bars, and facial bars all come in fully biodegradable packaging.

When it came to our sunscreen, we faced a challenge: finding a durable, travel-safe, and eco-friendly container. To protect the product from leaks and contamination, we chose a tube made from low-density polyethylene (LDPE) plastic. While this isn’t a perfect solution, our commitment to the planet hasn’t changed.

We’ve partnered with trusted recycling facilities to ensure every sunscreen tube is properly recycled.

This is our promise to you and the planet.

What is LDPE?

LDPE (low-density polyethylene) is a soft, flexible plastic often used in packaging, including squeeze bottles. This material is not widely recyclable and can only be processed by specialized facilities.

By collecting your empty MAGWAI sunscreen tubes and dropping them off at our partner collection points (list below), you help reduce plastic waste and support a circular economy.

Give Your Tubes a Second Life With MAGWAI

Every empty sunscreen tube you return helps keep plastic out of our ecosystems and, most importantly, our oceans. It’s a small action with a big impact.

Until we find a more sustainable alternative for our sunscreen packaging, join us in protecting our planet!

Keep your empty sunscreen tubes, then clean and dry them.
